Directions From the North
- Once on 599 travel south until reaching the first traffic light (several miles if coming from downtown).
- Turn right and immediately get into the left hand turn lane.
- Turn left and mark your odometer.
- 3/4 mile on your right is an entrance marked by a large rock pedestal which says Sierra Aviation (top), Skyland Aircraft (bottom).
- Turn right and see a fence straight ahead.
- Look down the fence line to the left and see three large white jet fuel tanks.
- Park in front of them, and you will see the aircraft you will fly parked in front of you.
Directions From the South
- Coming north on I 25 at exit 276 will be 599.
- Exit and come to the bottom of the hill to a traffic light.
- Turn left, pass under the freeway, and head straight through the next traffic light.
- Climb two hills and at the next traffic light (Airport road) turn left.
- Immediately, get into the left hand turn lane.
- Turn left and mark your odometer.
- 3/4 mile on your right is an entrance marked by a large white pedestal which says Sierra Aviation (top), Skyland Aircraft (bottom).
- Turn right and see a fence straight ahead.
- Look down the fence line to the left and see three large white jet fuel tanks.
- Park in front of them, and you will see the aircraft you will fly parked in front of you.
Directions From Cerrillos Road
- Heading south on Cerrillos road come to a major intersection marked Airport Road.
- Turn right and travel about four miles heading southwest.
- At 599 intersection (four lanes) go straight through the traffic light.
- Immediately, get into the left hand turn lane.
- Turn left and mark your odometer.
- 3/4 mile on your right is an entrance marked by a large pedestal which says Sierra Aviation (top), Skyland Aircraft (bottom).
- Turn right and see a fence straight ahead.
- Look down the fence line to the left and see three large white jet fuel tanks.
- Park in front of them, and you will see the aircraft you will fly parked in front of you.
